The next STIFCompetency Train the Trainer workshops will be held on:

  • Friday 22nd March 2019
The Royal Society of Medicine, Wimpole Street, London, W1G 0AE
    09:30 til 12:45

The Train the Trainer Workshop is a practical training session aiming to provide guidance and advice on:

  • How to run the STIFIntermediate Competency training and assessment, including the new STIFIntegrated Competency assessments
  • How to run the STIFAdvanced Competency training and assessment
  • How to run the new STIF Sexual Health Advising Competency programme for health advisers
  • How to run a STIFFundamental Competency assessment
  • How to use the educational and assessment tools effectively
  • How to manage a 'failing' trainee/candidate
  • Sharing experiences

The workshop is recommended for GUM medical and nurse consultants, SAS doctors and clinical nurse specialists involved in training and assessing doctors and nurses within their own departments.

We recommend that band 5 and 6 nurses attend the STIF Competency Train the Trainer workshop so they can also assist in the STIF Competency training and assessments. The STIF registered Competency Trainer remains responsible for all final sign off documentation and should still have some involvement in the trainee assessments along the way.

The registration cost for this event is £75.00.
Payment is by credit card only. To register click on the button below and the registration process will ask you for credit card details in respect of payment. You will receive an email to confirm your registration and payment.
