The British Association of Sexual Health and HIV (BASHH) is pleased to provide education in sexual health and HIV through the education arm - The Sexually Transmitted Infections Foundation (STIF). The STI Foundation provides multidisciplinary training in the attitudes, skills, and knowledge required for the prevention and management of sexually transmitted infections, in the form of the STI Foundation Theory Course and the STI Foundation Competency Programme – click below for further information and details.
STIF Foundation Theory Course
The STI Foundation Theory Course is made up of 3 parts; Foundation Theory One, Foundation Theory Two and Foundation Theory Three together with e-learning. It aims to equip participants with the basic knowledge, skills and attitudes for the diagnosis and management of common sexually transmitted infections (STIs) and to know when and how to refer.
STIF Foundation session at BASHH Conference 2022
The conference is running 19th-22nd June 2022 at Cutlers Hall, Sheffield.
The STI Foundation is hosting a session on the 21st June 15:00-16:00 and will be delighted to invite STIF trainees, course directors and those involved with the programme.
We will be celebrating the STI Foundation's 21st anniversary and it will be great to share this achievement with you all.
